This computer generated image shows the front of the two main classrooms for Rai Som school. We hope to begin building these after rainy season ends, so that we can set the floor above flood level - to do this, we need to monitor levels throught rainy season. The area floods each year, for an average of 1-3 days. Whilst this is not a long time, the damage done to the classrooms and resources could be severe if the ground is not raised high enough. Better to spend a little more on dirt now, than repair and replacement costs in the future.
